ConfirmPH shows a small number of signals about the businesses and vehicles listed on it. Each one is about one specific thing — business identity, business legal readiness, vehicle legal readiness, insurance evidence, vehicle safety, or driver and release readiness — and none of them is a government approval. This page says exactly what each one covers and, just as importantly, what it does not.
ConfirmPH does not use one general “verified” label. Every piece of evidence is in one of these four states:
"Not verified" means only that ConfirmPH has not reviewed the evidence. It never means that a business, vehicle or driver is illegal.
What it means: ConfirmPH reviewed this business's identity against the registration or identification evidence it provided.
What it does not mean: Business legal readiness: that the business holds every licence or permit required to rent vehicles, that its vehicles are roadworthy, or that it is insured. It is not a government approval.
What it means: ConfirmPH reviewed specific business-level evidence, such as a local business permit or BIR registration, and it was current when reviewed. Each requirement is shown on its own, with its review state.
What it does not mean: That every requirement that could apply to the business has been met, that a government office has confirmed the document, or that the business has been approved by any authority.
What it means: For this vehicle, ConfirmPH reviewed current registration evidence. Where a service needs a transport authority, that is reviewed separately.
What it does not mean: That the vehicle is roadworthy, that it has passed any government inspection, or that it may be used for every kind of service.
What it means: For this vehicle, ConfirmPH reviewed current compulsory insurance evidence.
What it does not mean: That any particular loss, driver or rental is covered. What an insurer covers is decided by the insurer and the policy.
What it means: The vehicle has no open Enhanced Vehicle Safety hold right now.
What it does not mean: That the vehicle is safe, or that it has been mechanically inspected by ConfirmPH. The absence of a hold is not a safety guarantee.
What it means: This business voluntarily accepted stronger ConfirmPH vehicle-safety controls. A serious unresolved vehicle issue can stop that vehicle completing a ConfirmPH handover.
What it does not mean: That every vehicle has been mechanically inspected or certified by ConfirmPH, or that a vehicle is risk-free. It says nothing about the business's permits, drivers, insurance or accident liability.
What it means: For a particular booking, ConfirmPH checks whether the company-supplied driver is qualified and available, or whether each self-drive driver meets the requirements that apply, together with the other conditions for handing the vehicle over. This is shown to the renter and the business for that booking, not as a public badge.
What it does not mean: That a government office has approved the driver, or that the driver will be covered by any insurance policy. It is a ConfirmPH platform decision based on recorded evidence.
What it means: Every piece of evidence is shown in one of four states: self-reported (entered by the business, not reviewed), evidence uploaded (provided, waiting for review), ConfirmPH reviewed, or authority review required (only a government office can confirm it).
What it does not mean: A document being on file is not the same as ConfirmPH having reviewed it, and "not verified" does not mean illegal.
What it means: The business recorded its own inspection of this vehicle recently.
What it does not mean: A government roadworthiness test, or an inspection by ConfirmPH or any independent inspector.
What it means: ConfirmPH's own operational warnings show nothing critical open right now.
What it does not mean: That nothing is wrong — only that nothing has been detected or reported.
What it means: Reviews shown come from invitations tied to real completed bookings on ConfirmPH.
What it does not mean: That every customer of this business has been invited or has reviewed.
What it means: Staff of this business have used ConfirmPH recently.
What it does not mean: Anything about quality, safety or legality.
What it means: The business filled in its key public profile fields.
What it does not mean: That ConfirmPH checked the accuracy of what was filled in.
A business's ConfirmPH state describes its relationship with the platform, not its legal standing. Legal readiness is shown separately.
Paid placement is always labelled Sponsored and is separate from organic ordering. Payment never changes a verification status, a legal-readiness status, a safety status or safety hold, a review rating or any trust signal, and no plan or payment confers a badge. ConfirmPH does not publish a single numeric legal or safety score. Readiness evidence that ConfirmPH has actually reviewed may have a bounded, limited effect on organic listing order.
A business can contest any ConfirmPH verification or safety decision, and correct the information behind it. Every automated action that restricts a vehicle or a listing is reviewable by a person.
