Question 1

What is ConfirmPH?

Accepted Answer

ConfirmPH is a booking confirmation, discovery, and rental-records platform. It helps customers and renters in the Philippines check booking details, request written confirmation, discover listed rental businesses, and understand what has been recorded, while helping businesses keep cleaner booking records and confirmation trails.

Question 2

Does ConfirmPH mean my booking is guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

No. ConfirmPH helps confirm the recorded booking details, not the rental itself. ConfirmPH does not guarantee vehicle availability, vehicle condition, business honesty, refunds, deposit return, insurance, or that the rental will proceed as planned. Always contact the rental business directly if anything looks unclear.

Question 3

Is a business listed on ConfirmPH automatically verified?

Accepted Answer

No. A listing means the business has a public presence on ConfirmPH. It does not mean ConfirmPH guarantees the business, vehicle condition, documents, insurance, refund behavior, or legal compliance. Always check the details directly with the business.

Question 4

What do labels like 'Evidence uploaded' or 'ConfirmPH reviewed' mean?

Accepted Answer

ConfirmPH uses four evidence states. Self-reported: the business stated it. Evidence uploaded: a document was submitted but not yet reviewed. ConfirmPH reviewed: ConfirmPH staff checked the submitted evidence. Authority review required: only the relevant government authority can decide. An uploaded file alone is never shown as a verified badge, and 'Not verified by ConfirmPH' does not mean a business or vehicle is illegal.

Question 5

Can I trust reviews on ConfirmPH?

Accepted Answer

Reviews may be connected to real booking records where available, which helps reduce random fake reviews. However, reviews are still user-submitted opinions. ConfirmPH does not guarantee every statement in a review is true.

Question 6

What does 'Awaiting Customer Confirmation' mean?

Accepted Answer

The business has recorded the booking details, but you haven't reviewed them yet. Open the secure link they shared to confirm the details or request a change.

Question 7

What does 'At Risk' mean?

Accepted Answer

Something may need attention before your booking can proceed smoothly. It may relate to timing, availability, vehicle status, missing details, or another booking issue. ConfirmPH may show the warning, but the rental business is responsible for explaining and resolving it. Contact the business directly if you see this status.

Question 8

What if no booking is found?

Accepted Answer

Use 'Request Booking Confirmation' to ask the business to confirm your booking in writing. The business can then match your details against its own records and create or share a clearer booking record if appropriate.

Question 9

Why do I need an OTP?

Accepted Answer

OTP protects you. We don't reveal booking details to anyone who simply types in a reference number. The code is sent to the contact on file.

Question 10

What should I do if a business doesn't respond?

Accepted Answer

Contact them directly using the phone number they advertised. If you suspect fraud or harassment, report it through our Contact page.

Question 11

Does ConfirmPH own the rental cars?

Accepted Answer

No. We are a software platform. The cars are owned and operated by the rental businesses themselves.

Question 12

Can I pay through ConfirmPH?

Accepted Answer

No. ConfirmPH does not receive rental money. You pay the rental business directly (cash, bank transfer, GCash, or whatever you agreed). The business may record your advance, security deposit and other payments in ConfirmPH so both sides can see them, but a payment shown in ConfirmPH is a record kept by the business, not money held by ConfirmPH.

Question 13

What happens if the car is damaged or unavailable?

Accepted Answer

The rental business is responsible for handling the issue, offering updates, and arranging any replacement, change, refund, or next step. ConfirmPH may help the business record the problem and notify affected customers, but ConfirmPH does not guarantee a replacement vehicle or a specific outcome.

Question 14

Why are some dates unavailable when requesting a booking?

Accepted Answer

The vehicle or item may already be booked, blocked, unavailable, under maintenance, or otherwise not open for that period. ConfirmPH may block unavailable periods without showing private internal reasons.

Question 15

What if I see a demo business?

Accepted Answer

Demo businesses are for testing only. Nothing shown on a demo business page is real, including vehicles, prices, availability, contact details, bookings, reviews, or offers. Do not pay, book, or rely on demo information.

Question 16

What exactly does ConfirmPH verify?

Accepted Answer

Only what a label says. ConfirmPH can review evidence a business submits (for example business registration, vehicle registration or insurance evidence) and show that it was reviewed and when. It also records booking confirmations and checks a vehicle against its own safety holds. See the What ConfirmPH Verifies page for each signal and what it does not mean.

Question 17

Is ConfirmPH verification the same as government approval?

Accepted Answer

No. ConfirmPH is not the LTO, LTFRB, DTI, SEC, BIR or any other authority. “ConfirmPH reviewed” means ConfirmPH staff checked the evidence submitted to it. Only the relevant authority can grant a licence, franchise or registration.

Question 18

What is the difference between Business Legal Readiness, Vehicle Legal Readiness and Safety?

Accepted Answer

They are separate checks. Business Legal Readiness looks at the business's own registration and permit evidence. Vehicle Legal Readiness looks at each vehicle's registration and insurance evidence. Safety (Enhanced Vehicle Safety) looks at whether a vehicle has an open safety hold. Passing one does not mean the others are satisfied.

Question 19

What is the difference between self-drive and hire-a-driver?

Accepted Answer

Self-drive means you or another authorized driver drives the vehicle. Hire-a-driver means the rental business provides one of its company drivers. Each vehicle and business shows which service modes it offers: self-drive, with a driver, or both. A driver-service charge, if any, is shown separately.

Question 20

Can I choose a particular company driver?

Accepted Answer

You can ask, but the rental business assigns the driver. Whoever is assigned must pass the business's driver-eligibility checks in ConfirmPH, and the business may replace a driver if the assigned one becomes unavailable or ineligible.
