Clearer records. Better signals. Easier reporting. ConfirmPH is designed to make Philippine rentals easier to understand, easier to manage, and easier to follow up when something goes wrong. We use booking records, customer confirmations, booking-linked reviews, access controls, reporting tools, moderation, and operational signals to help renters and rental businesses work with clearer information. These tools reduce uncertainty. They do not replace your own checks or guarantee that every rental will be problem-free. This page should be read together with the ConfirmPH Terms of Service, Customer / Renter Terms, Business Terms, Privacy Policy, Reviews Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and other applicable policies.
1. How ConfirmPH helps build trust
ConfirmPH is built around a simple principle: important rental information should be easier to see, confirm, and trace.
Many rentals begin through Messenger, Facebook, WhatsApp, Viber, phone calls, referrals, or walk-ins. ConfirmPH does not try to replace those channels. Instead, it helps create clearer records around what happens after the conversation becomes a real rental.
Clear booking records. Important rental details can be recorded in one place instead of depending only on chats, calls, screenshots, or memory. This may include:
- customer
- vehicle or rental item
- pickup and return
- price
- deposit
- balance
- booking status
important changes; and
relevant booking history.
Customer confirmation. Renters can review booking details presented to them and affirmatively confirm those details through the applicable ConfirmPH confirmation process. Where important booking details change, ConfirmPH may require the renter to review and confirm the updated information again.
Booking-linked reviews. Eligible reviews can be connected to completed ConfirmPH bookings. This helps reduce reviews from completely unrelated visitors. A booking-linked review does not mean ConfirmPH independently verified that every factual statement in the review is true.
Reporting and moderation. Renters and businesses can report suspicious listings, fake activity, abuse, misleading information, review manipulation, security issues, or other misuse for review by ConfirmPH.
2. Understanding ConfirmPH trust signals
ConfirmPH may display informational signals on business profiles, listings, vehicle pages, reviews, or other public surfaces. These signals describe information or activity recorded in ConfirmPH. They are not guarantees. Examples may include:
Profile complete: the business completed the required profile information for that indicator.
Active on ConfirmPH: the business has qualifying recent activity on ConfirmPH according to the criteria used for that signal.
Booking-linked reviews: reviews were submitted through an eligible ConfirmPH booking-review process.
Documents recorded: the business added relevant document information or records to ConfirmPH. This does not mean ConfirmPH independently authenticated those documents.
Recent inspection recorded: the rental business or its authorized staff recorded a recent inspection or condition check in ConfirmPH. This does not mean ConfirmPH personally inspected the vehicle.
Online booking or inquiry available: the business has enabled the applicable customer-facing booking or inquiry feature. This is a feature-status signal, not a guarantee that a particular vehicle will remain available.
3. What trust signals do not mean
Unless ConfirmPH expressly states that a particular check was independently performed, a trust signal does not mean:
- government approval
- official licensing approval
- safety certification
- insurance verification
- document authenticity
- guaranteed legal compliance
- guaranteed vehicle availability
- guaranteed booking fulfillment
- guaranteed deposit return
- guaranteed refund
- scam-free operation
problem-free rental; or
endorsement by ConfirmPH.
A useful rule is: a trust signal means information or activity is recorded in ConfirmPH. It does not mean ConfirmPH guarantees the business or vehicle.
4. What ConfirmPH verifies, and what businesses provide
ConfirmPH may verify certain platform-level facts where a feature is specifically designed to do so. Examples may include:
- control of an email address or contact method
- completion of a required platform action
- use of an eligible booking-confirmation process
use of an eligible booking-linked review process; or
other clearly described platform checks.
Other information may be provided directly by the rental business. This can include:
- business descriptions
- vehicle information
- prices
- availability
- photographs
- policies
- document records
- inspection records
- maintenance records
- damage information
insurance information; and
other business-entered information.
ConfirmPH should only use words such as verified, checked, or confirmed where the product can clearly explain what was checked, who checked it, and what that check does and does not establish. If a piece of information was simply submitted or recorded by a business, ConfirmPH should describe it that way.
5. Documents and vehicle records
Rental businesses may add or record information relating to:
- OR/CR
- registration
- insurance
- permits
- licences
- emissions records
- inspections
- maintenance
- damage
- incidents
vehicle condition; or
other business or vehicle documents.
A label such as Documents recorded means relevant information or files were added to ConfirmPH. Unless ConfirmPH expressly says a particular document was independently reviewed, that label does not mean ConfirmPH has confirmed its authenticity, validity, completeness, legal effect, current status, or acceptance by a government authority.
Businesses remain responsible for maintaining valid records and complying with applicable requirements.
6. Inspection and condition information
ConfirmPH may allow rental businesses to record pickup condition, return condition, inspections, checklists, mileage, fuel or charging status, damage, incidents, maintenance, vehicle readiness, and related history.
These records are generally created by the rental business or its authorized staff. They do not mean ConfirmPH personally inspected, mechanically tested, certified, or guaranteed the vehicle.
Renters should still inspect a vehicle before accepting it and should raise visible damage, missing items, document concerns, or safety issues with the rental business.
7. Protecting accounts and private information
ConfirmPH uses access controls and security safeguards intended to limit unauthorized access to private customer and business information. Depending on the feature, safeguards may include account authentication, one-time codes, protected or time-limited links, contact verification, role-based permissions, access restrictions, abuse-prevention controls, request limits, activity logging, and other security measures.
Different rental businesses operate within separate business accounts and permissions. Private information belonging to one business should not become accessible to another business merely because both use ConfirmPH.
Businesses are responsible for protecting owner and administrator access, assigning appropriate staff permissions, removing access when staff leave, keeping login credentials private, and using staff-monitoring or activity features lawfully.
Users should also protect passwords, email accounts, phones, authentication codes, private booking links, and other access credentials.
If you believe private data is being exposed incorrectly, report it immediately.
8. Private booking, confirmation, and review links
Some ConfirmPH features may use private, protected, single-use, or time-limited links. These can include booking links, confirmation links, change-confirmation links, review invitations, account links, or other protected workflows.
Do not publish or knowingly share private links or authentication codes with unauthorized persons. Someone who obtains a valid private link may, depending on the feature, be able to view information or complete the action associated with that link until it expires, is used, is revoked, or otherwise becomes invalid.
If you believe a private ConfirmPH link has been exposed or misused, report it as soon as possible.
9. Booking lookup protection
ConfirmPH may require verification before displaying private booking information. Depending on the feature, this may include contact verification, one-time codes, masked information, limited previews, attempt limits, expiring access, or temporary restrictions.
These controls are intended to reduce unauthorized access. No security system can guarantee that every misuse will be prevented.
10. Operational warnings and reminders
ConfirmPH may provide businesses with warnings or reminders about matters such as overlapping bookings, tight booking buffers, late returns, unavailable vehicles, vehicles needing inspection, maintenance, damage, incidents, affected future bookings, pending confirmations, missing information, deposit or balance status, document expiry, or other operational risks.
Warnings depend on the information available in ConfirmPH. If information is missing, outdated, delayed, or entered incorrectly, a warning may also be missing, delayed, or inaccurate. No warning should be treated as proof that no problem exists. Businesses remain responsible for checking their actual operations and making final decisions.
For that reason, ConfirmPH should avoid using a public-facing signal such as No current critical alerts unless the wording clearly explains that it refers only to recorded platform data.
11. Notifications
ConfirmPH may send service-related communications through supported channels such as in-app notifications, email, push notifications, or other enabled methods, relating to bookings, confirmations, changes, reminders, incidents, reviews, account security, support, or other platform activity.
Delivery can be affected by internet connectivity, device settings, email providers, telecom networks, browser permissions, notification permissions, or third-party services.
Important rental decisions should not depend solely on receiving a ConfirmPH notification.
12. Something looks wrong? Tell us.
ConfirmPH provides reporting and support tools for renters and rental businesses.
Renters can report suspicious or misleading listings, possible scams, impersonation, fake business information, forged or suspicious documents, review abuse, harassment, threats, privacy concerns, unsafe or abusive behaviour, suspicious payment activity, or security concerns.
Businesses can report fake bookings, fake payment evidence, harassment, abusive customers, review manipulation, impersonation, account abuse, unauthorized access, spam, security concerns, or other platform misuse.
Use the ConfirmPH Report, Contact, or Support tools where available. When reporting a concern, useful information may include business name, profile or listing, booking reference, relevant dates, screenshots, messages, payment information, photographs, and a clear description of what happened.
Do not publicly post private personal information when submitting or discussing a report.
13. What happens after a report
ConfirmPH may review a report based on available records, information submitted by the parties, seriousness of the issue, platform policies, security or safety risk, and applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, ConfirmPH may request additional information, issue a warning, restrict content or features, hide or remove content, limit public visibility, moderate reviews, temporarily restrict an account, suspend an account, preserve relevant records, or take other appropriate action permitted by policy and law.
Serious security, safety, fraud, or legal risks may require temporary action before a complete review is finished.
Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome. ConfirmPH cannot guarantee that every report will result in content removal, account suspension, refund, deposit recovery, compensation, private dispute resolution, or law-enforcement action.
14. Fair review and appeals
A report does not automatically prove wrongdoing. Where appropriate, ConfirmPH may review relevant platform records, request information from affected renters or businesses, consider explanations or supporting evidence, allow correction of inaccurate information, reconsider moderation decisions, or provide an appeal or review process where available.
Urgent safety, fraud, security, or legal concerns may justify temporary restrictions while a matter is being reviewed.
ConfirmPH's goal is to protect users and platform integrity without treating every allegation as automatically proven.
15. Reviews and review integrity
ConfirmPH may allow eligible renters to submit booking-linked reviews. Businesses may respond in accordance with the Reviews Policy.
ConfirmPH may restrict, hide, reject, or remove reviews or replies involving fake reviews, coordinated manipulation, prohibited incentives, spam, threats, harassment, impersonation, knowingly false or unlawful content, private personal information without lawful basis, or other policy violations.
A booking-linked review means the review came through an eligible ConfirmPH booking-review process. It does not mean ConfirmPH independently verified every statement in the review.
16. Anti-abuse protections
ConfirmPH may use technical and account-level safeguards intended to reduce spam, repeated authentication abuse, fake inquiries, fake booking activity, automated form abuse, review manipulation, malicious traffic, unauthorized access, and other misuse.
Where appropriate, ConfirmPH may limit requests, restrict features, block suspicious activity, or take other protective measures. For security reasons, ConfirmPH does not publish every technical detail of these protections.
17. If we discover a security incident
ConfirmPH maintains processes intended to investigate and respond to security incidents affecting the platform or information entrusted to it. Depending on the circumstances, ConfirmPH may investigate suspicious activity, restrict affected access, preserve relevant records, take steps to contain or remediate the issue, and communicate with affected users or authorities where required.
Where a personal-data breach requires reporting or notification under applicable law, ConfirmPH will follow applicable legal requirements.
Users and businesses should report suspected unauthorized access or exposure promptly.
18. Safety basics for renters
Before paying, travelling to pickup, or accepting a vehicle:
- confirm the rental business and contact information
- confirm the vehicle or agreed vehicle category
- confirm price and deposit terms
- confirm pickup and return details
- understand cancellation and refund terms
- inspect the vehicle
- photograph important condition details where useful
- and keep relevant booking and payment records
If something important is unclear, ask before paying or driving away.
19. Safety basics for rental businesses
Before releasing a vehicle:
- confirm renter identity and eligibility
- confirm the booking details
- explain payment and deposit terms
- inspect and document vehicle condition
- keep vehicle and business information current
- communicate important changes clearly
- protect customer information
- manage staff access responsibly
- and report suspicious or abusive activity
ConfirmPH can support these practices. It does not replace the Business's own professional, legal, safety, or operational responsibilities.
20. Emergencies
ConfirmPH is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, accidents, injuries, crimes, medical emergencies, fire, or other urgent emergencies in the Philippines, call 911 or contact the appropriate local emergency, medical, police, fire, or roadside service.
Do not rely on ConfirmPH support tickets, reviews, reports, notifications, or platform messages for emergency assistance.
21. What ConfirmPH cannot guarantee
ConfirmPH provides records, platform safeguards, trust signals, warnings, reviews, and reporting mechanisms. It cannot guarantee:
- that every business is honest
- that every customer is honest
- that every document is authentic or valid
- that every vehicle is safe
- that every vehicle remains available
- that every booking will be fulfilled
- that every payment record is accurate
- that every deposit or refund will be returned
- that every scam will be detected
- that every operational problem will create a warning
- that every review is completely accurate
- that every notification will be delivered
- that every dispute will be resolved
that every user will comply with platform rules; or
that the Services will never experience interruption or security risk.
Renters and rental businesses remain responsible for making their own real-world decisions.
22. Privacy and personal information
ConfirmPH processes personal and business information as described in the Privacy Policy and other applicable privacy notices. Access to information may depend on user role, business account, permissions, privacy settings, platform functionality, security requirements, and applicable law.
Certain security, audit, support, booking, moderation, or legal records may need to be retained where permitted or required, even after an account is closed or a deletion request is made. See the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Policy for more information.
If you believe private or personal information is being exposed, accessed, or used improperly, report it promptly.
23. Changes to Trust & Safety practices
ConfirmPH may update its safety controls, trust signals, moderation systems, reporting tools, security measures, operational warnings, and related safeguards as the platform, risks, laws, and technology change.

Short summary
ConfirmPH is designed to make Philippine rentals clearer, more traceable, and easier to manage. It helps through clearer booking records, customer confirmations, booking-linked reviews, public trust signals, access controls, operational warnings, reporting, moderation, and security safeguards.
Trust signals show recorded information. They are not guarantees.
Renters should still check important details, inspect vehicles, and protect their accounts. Rental businesses should still operate responsibly, maintain their vehicles and documents, protect customer information, and comply with applicable requirements.
If something looks suspicious, report it. If there is an emergency, call 911 or contact the appropriate emergency service.
If there is any conflict between the English version and a translated version of this Policy, the English version controls, subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived or limited.
